The Rooms

Each of the ten guest rooms, with private or semiprivate baths, is a treasure of graceful proportions and effervescence. Filled with antiques and artifacts of the 19th century, each has been individually and warmly decorated. Large floor-to-ceiling windows introduce the outdoors while selected use of color and fabric bring it all together. Classic linens and toiletries, cozy duvets and fresh flowers are just a few of the amenities.

The Mermaid - a family and recreational room on the lower level, destined to be a English Pub with spirits and dining, is where guests may relax and enjoy English darts, games or casually fill in a piece of the ongoing jigsaw puzzles by the fireplace, which is aglow during the chilly seasonal months. Another spot to relax and mingle with the other guests, is the classic "front parlor" with its fireplace and objects d'art like those the sea captains brought back from the China trade. Homeport reflects a truly warm, homey, hospitable atmosphere for a short or extended visit.

Victorian cottages, located on the beautiful grounds of the Homeport estate, are available for weekly rental. You will find the same cheerful atmosphere and clean comfortable accommodations as you find at the Inn.

Enjoy the beautiful ocean view and the Maine coastline with quiet privacy. All cottages have two bedrooms, one with a full bed and the other with twin beds. They are tastefully furnished, supplied with all linens, a fully equipped kitchen including appliances and heated for the early spring and fall seasons.
