From New York:

Take Interstate 87 to Albany, Exit 23. After toll pick up Route 787 North for about 10 miles-exit Route 7 East to Troy, Bennington, Vermont (Route 7 becomes Route 9 in Vermont - Stay on this road). In Bennington, Route 7 North to Manchester, about 26 miles. Get off Exit 4, Manchester. At the end of the exit ramp turn left into Manchester. Make a right and a quick left onto Route 30 North to Dorset, 6 miles. The Dorset Inn is on the left on the corner of Church Street.

From Connecticut:

Take Route 7 North through Connecticut and Massachusetts into Bennington, Vermont. Continue on Route 7 North to Manchester, about 26 miles. Get off Exit 4, Manchester. At the end of the exit ramp turn left into Manchester. Make a right and a quick left onto Route 30 North to Dorset, 6 miles. The Dorset Inn is on the left on the comer of Church Street.

Interstate 91 North is also an alternative. I91 brings you to Brattleboro, Vermont. Exit Manchester/Route 30. Take Route 30 North to Manchester, about 1 hour. Through Manchester, make right at lights and a quick left on Route 30 North Continuation, about 6 miles. The Dorset Inn is on the left on the Corner of Church Street.

From Boston:

Take Route 2 North out of Boston. Route 2 intersects with Interstate 91 about 10 miles south of Brattleboro, Vermont, still continue on this path. Exit off Interstate 91 at the Brattleboro/Manchester exit, Route 30. Take Route 30 North into Manchester, about 1 hour. Through Manchester, make right at lights and a quick left which is also Route 30 North to Dorset, 6 miles. The Dorset Inn is on the left on the Corner of Church Street.

From New Jersey/Other Points South via Turnpike:

Take Garden State Parkway through New Jersey. Exit to Interstate 87 North to New York State. Follow the "From New York" directions above.

Travel Times:

New York City to Dorset - approximately 4.5 hours

Boston to Dorset - approximately 3.5 hours

Montreal to Dorset - approximately 4 hours

Room Rates:

Our 31 colonial, antique-filled guestrooms all have private baths and are available in many different styles. All rates include a Full Breakfast and Dinner. 7% Vermont Sales Tax will be added to these rates.

Single: $90 - $120

Double: $170 - $225

Suites: $225 - $325

These prices reflect year-round rates. Subject to change.

Seasons:

Open year 'round.

Dining:

Breakfast, lunch and dinner served year 'round. Meals open to the public.

Smoking:

As of July 1, 1995, Vermont Law prohibits smoking in any public building. Therefore, there will be no smoking in any guestrooms, restrooms, dining areas or common areas within the Dorset Inn.

Children:

The Dorset Inn is primarily designed and operated as a retreat for adults. We do not offer any activities or have any facilities for children, and therefore we do not encourage people to bring them.

Sorry, no pets!

Arrival and Departure:

Check-in is any time after 2 pm.

Check-out is 11 am.

Late Arrivals:

Special arrangements must be made for arrivals after 10 pm. Please let us know prior to your arrival.

Credit Cards:

We honor Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover.

Deposit and Refund Policy:

You are required to send a check or give a credit card number equal to one night's stay. Deposits made by personal check must be received by us ten days after you make the reservation.

A refund of this deposit minus a $15.00 service charge will be made if the cancellation is made at least 14 days prior to your reservation date. If you cancel within 48 hours of the reservation and we cannot rent the room, you will be charged half the nightly room rate.
